Welcome to UCHS Swim & Dive Team! Under the direction of Coach Brian Hernandez, we look forward to another successful season for all of our swim . and dive athletes
 

The Swim & Dive Team Boosters are parent volunteers who assist Coach Brian with the program. Boosters and Coaches work together diligently to ensure that each athlete receives a great team experience. To achieve a high quality program at UCHS, we rely on the voluntary efforts of parents and community members in form of time, goods, carpool assistance, and through financial assistance directly benefiting the swim and dive team.
 

Coach Brian and the Boosters have created an operating budget for the 2018 Swim & Dive Team season. As school budgets find themselves constrained, the UCHS swim and dive team receives limited monies from the school district to cover the program costs. Aquatics programs at UCHS rely even more heavily on fundraising due to the increased cost of pool rental at UCSD, along with the lack of a ‘snack bar’ during home meets. Some have ask what a typical donation per athlete would be, this would be $500. There is no expectation that a student or parent make a financial dona�on to the program.

 

Participation in swim & dive team is free to all students who want to participate. ALL students will receive the same opportunities, experiences, and/or materials regardless of whether a contribution is made. If we do not raise the anticipated amount set aside for the budget this year, the program will cut back on extra opportunities and gear for our athletes that help skill development.
